Dear Friends,
My very sweet mother got some bad news on April 9, 2009.
She got a clear check up a few months earlier.
This latest check up delivered some very bad news. Her cancer is back.
She then started new chemo treatments.
I just went to Tucson, and spent two weeks with her. (May 25 to June 8).
The latest news was not what we had hoped.
That chemo was not working, and they will switch to another chemo treatment.
She is being very brave, but she is also scared.
She is doing everything the doctors prescribe.
She is doing everything she can to, get better and beat this.
She is weak from all of the tests and chemo and shots.
Cancer Sucks!!
Many of you know her. You may have met her at quilt shows, or met her, here during classes.
She always asks about "The Girls".
She always asks, "How are the new quilters doing"?
Please keep her in your prayers.
Please pray for a miracle recovery.
Please pray that she isn't experiencing any pain.
I will go back to Tucson very soon, for another two weeks. Tom is so supportive and will be here at
the shop for you, and by phone. We are here for you, and will always help you. Thank you for
understanding.
